MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT

The only mobile game where friends compete in a cooking or cocktail competition in real life. The mobile app guides users from setup to voting for the winner. The fun and excitement of popular television cooking competition shows is brought to home kitchens and bars through a mobile phone.

Binary Star Systems designed and developed the native iOS mobile app. The app was selected to compete in the Summer of Apps competition at Google and was an early stage finalist at the Bend Venture Conference.

Pacific Northwest artist Teafly Peterson came to us because she wanted her fun, hand drawn Tea-Mojies out in the world for people to use when they send text messages. Teafly’s unique style and sense of humor is the perfect way to communicate those funny and silly moments through texts. We turned her nature and animal packed speech bubble whimsy into a sticker pack for sale in the App Store.

bend venture conference:

electronic voting for attendees

MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT

Audience voting is part of the Bend Venture Conference experience. Before the conference 10 early stage companies pitch at a PubTalk and the audience votes to select the five that compete for a cash prize. At the conference the audience votes for the winner. Prior to the voting app the audience voted on paper. Now the audience scanned a unique QR code that took them to a website so they could vote using their mobile device. Determining the winner was done in seconds instead of the time consuming error-prone hand counting.
